On June 3-5, 2015, the First Global Pest Control Summit was held
Given the increasing globalization of the pest control industry, the National Pest Management Association of America (NPMA) and the European Confederation of Pest Control (CEPA) held the Global Pest Control Summit on June 03-05, 2015, which was dedicated to pest control in the food industry and healthcare in general.
The first Global Pest Control Summit was held on June 3-5, 2015 in Juan-les-Pins, Antibes, on the French Riviera. The event was also attended by the Head of the Ukrainian Pest Control Association, Sergey Krivodonov, and the founder of SPECSPECTR, Anna Kholostova.

“The first Global Summit gave us an opportunity to hear from speakers about new trends in pest control. Successful pest control companies shared their experience and suggested practical ways to solve the industry’s problems. And such leading manufacturers of insect and rodent control products as LODI Group, Bayer, Singenta spoke about the latest developments of the latest insecticides, rodenticides and auxiliary pest control products. The manufacturers assured that they are actively working on the development of new active ingredients and formulas due to the acute issue of resistance. The summit provided an excellent opportunity to meet pest control market participants from around the world, as well as to communicate with colleagues we already know. In addition, we were surprised by the news that last week the first pest control company was certified according to the En16636 standard by CEPA Certified. Such events give us enthusiasm, energize and inspire us to work even more effectively, which I am sure we will be able to implement at SPECSPECTR,” said Anna Holostova, founder of SPECSPECTR, about the results of the meeting.

However, the main news and the main achievement of this meeting for Ukraine was the agreement of the Head of the Ukrainian Pest Control Association, Mr. Sergiy Krivodonov, the President of the European Confederation of Pest Control (CEPA), Mr. Bertrand Monmorie and the President of the National Pest Control Association of America (NPMA), Mr. Bob Rosenberg, to jointly hold the first Global Pest Control Summit in Ukraine this year.

“The organization of an event of this level in Ukraine is a huge breakthrough not only for Ukraine, but for Eastern Europe as a whole. Representatives of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have already expressed their support for the Ukrainian Summit. Since the pest control market in Ukraine is practically empty, very poorly developed and characterized by scarcity, or even complete absence, of good quality pest control products, equipment, measuring equipment, etc., a pest control exhibition will be held in Ukraine as part of the Pest Control Summit. We will invite the leading manufacturers of pest control products in Ukraine and give them the opportunity to feel the Eastern European market and its prospects. I am grateful to Bertrand Montmorency and Bob Rosenberg for agreeing to become active participants in this event and to provide the most significant assistance in its organization,” shared his impressions of the planned cooperation Sergey Vladimirovich. This agreement will be published in the media, as well as in the Pest Management Professional Magazine (USA).
