ICUP 2014, Zurich, Switzerland

On July 20-23, the management of Specspektr LLC visited the 8th International Conference ICUP 2014, Zurich, Switzerland.

The International Conference on Urban Pests (ICUP 2014) is the leading international forum for the exchange of information and ideas on the biology and control of pests in the urban environment. This event is attended by entomologists, sanitation specialists, a number of scientists and others representing organizations from around the world.

Representatives of SPECSPECTR LLC were the only representatives from Ukraine and, together with 3 representatives from Russia, the only ones from the post-Soviet space.

The conference provided an opportunity to learn from the experience of the world’s leading countries, to meet interesting people from different parts of the world, because we were all united by one thing – pest control.

Having communicated with 34 representatives of 12 different countries – international professionals in their field – we realized that Ukraine is only at the beginning of its pest control development and is significantly behind the advanced European and world technologies. However, we also felt the enormous Ukrainian potential and the interest of the international community in cooperation with Ukraine.
