CEPA General Assembly in Brussels

Representatives of Secspector Int. and UPCA (Ukrainian Pest Control Association) took part in the meeting of the General Assembly of CEPA (Confederation of European Pest Management Associations).

 

The Confederation of European Pest Management Associations (CEPA) is an association of national pest control associations in Europe and the world, manufacturers, distributors of products and service organizations of pest control. The purpose of its activities is to consolidate the efforts of its members in the exchange of experience, information and best practices in the field of pest control.

 

On January 20, 2015, in Brussels, representatives of Secspector Int. and UPCA took part in the meeting of the EPA General Assembly, where the following issues were discussed:

  1. Presentation of the report on the work done in 2014;
  2. Announcement of the action plan and budget of the organization for 2015;
  3. Release of the new European standard EN 16636, which will regulate the requirements and recommendations for the provision of Pest Control services;
  4. Presentation of the CEPA Certified certification scheme.
  5. Consideration of applications for new members.

 

After the voting, the Ukrainian Pest Control Association was accepted as a member of CEPA by a unanimous decision. “We sincerely believe that Ukraine’s accession to the international level in the pest control sphere will help Ukrainian pest control companies – UPCA members to significantly improve their professional level and bring their methods and standards of work in line with the European ones” – said the President of the Ukrainian Pest Control Association Sergey Krivodonov.
