Anna’s introduction: Anna shared her background, detailing her 17 years of experience in the pest control industry and her entrepreneurial journey, having founded her own company. Anna spoke about her key role in the implementation of the European standard EN 16636 in Ukraine, recalling her collaboration with European colleagues such as Bertrand and Barbara and her efforts to raise pest management standards in the country.

Anna emphasized the importance of establishing a certification system to maintain industry standards, reflecting on the current lack of structured documentation and the need for professional recognition from the government.
Mark, representing CEPA, emphasized the importance of professionalization and certification in the pest management industry in Europe, highlighting the role of CEPA certification.

Mark spoke in detail about the CEPA certification process, explaining its importance in establishing a general recognition of pest management companies in Europe, as well as efforts to promote this certification in member countries.
Anna expressed her desire for cooperation and support from European partners, seeking to gain knowledge of the European pest management market and its standards.

She asked the European participants for information on the current state of the pest control market in Europe, asking about any changes or conditions that may be relevant to the Ukrainian industry. And she expressed concern about finding a certification body in Ukraine willing to cooperate with the pest control industry, highlighting past difficulties.
